Viking Self Storage announces youth tennis sponsorship
Viking Self Storage is delighted to announce a new sponsorship deal with talented youth tennis player, Seth Newman.
Seth recently progressed to the under 14s age group, having ranked fifth in Britain at under 12 level last season, and is making fast progress through the ranks in his new age range; he shot up by 90 places to 80th in the course of a couple of months, playing against boys up to a couple of years older than himself, and still has another 18 months in this age group to further prove himself.
Through the summer, he saw success in both singles and doubles tournaments at under 14s, under 16s and even under 18s levels, and has aspirations of continued success as he moves through the different age groups and develops his skills as a player.
At a county level, Seth represents Suffolk, where he is ranked as the number one male at his age range. He plays across East Anglia, where he has posted a ranking of 16.
‘Seth is a talented young player and looks like a serious contender for future success,’ said Viking Self Storage Managing Director, Mark Holme. ‘With some great training and challenging play in the years ahead, we predict he will go from strength to strength. We are thrilled to support him in his development.’
The sponsorship from Viking will support Seth’s continued training and development at this critically important stage of his early career. His training schedule now involves a range of different groups, coaches and venues, giving him as much variety and challenge as possible alongside his continuing education.
Viking Self Storage currently operates storage facilities in Norwich and Bedford, bounding the eastern and western fringes of the East Anglian area in which Seth competes.
